We have been shipping software for ethnic retail and the charity sector since 2019. In 2025 we opened two new practices — AI and blockchain — because our clients were asking for both, and we had senior engineers we trusted to do it right.
Information X is a UK-based technology consultancy. We are deliberately small: senior engineers only, no offshoring, no middle layer of account managers between you and the people writing the code.
Our original practice grew out of work in ethnic retail — a sector under-served by generic retail software. That taught us to take domain knowledge seriously and to ship systems that respect the way a business actually runs.
Today we apply the same discipline to financial services, where AI and blockchain promise a lot and deliver sporadically. Our job is to make them deliver — safely, auditably, and on a timeline a CFO can plan around.
